Shape:
Flat contacts or Raised contacts ( Positive end is higher )

 

Nominal Capacity: 
minimum capacity measured in mAh (Milliamp hours) , larger value means its able to support bigger consumption or simply last longer before becoming depleted .

 

Continuous Discharge Rating:
maximum safe continuous current drain from battery without any ill effects.

 

Pulse Discharge Rating:
maximum safe short current drain pulse value. 

 

Nominal Voltage:  
The average voltage a cell outputs when charged.

 

Protected:
Integrated electronic protection circuit , overcharge , over discharge , short circuit , over current , temperature etc..
